WELCOME TO HISTORIC FLATBUSH

Located in the Town of Saugerties and the Town of Ulster, the quiet, rural community of Flatbush will be the focus of the 2012 Historic House Tour. Flatbush (Vlakkebosch is Dutch for what the early Native Americans called this relatively flat, wooded area) offers views of the Catskills, old farms, an historic church, and access to the Hudson River all within easy driving distance.  Tour participants will visit private homes and historic sites that date from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

In one day, you will travel from the present through the past --getting a glimpse into community life of the early residents of Flatbush.
